It has been awhile since I posted - a WHOLE month! Cannot believe it went by that fast - I have done some scrapping this month - but, honestly most of it has been with Studio J and as soon as they are here I will post!!! If you have come from Jean's Blog then you are on the right track!!! I am enjoying scrapping that way but like traditional better.... but, that is just me. So this month's stamps are totally awesome for Valentines day - they are great!!! But, I had the chance to use them early and a few of you might recognize them as Wedding cards I made - which they were great for as well!!!
So here is my take with a wedding card.... I just love the fall colors of Olivia papers!!! They were great for all of the fall weddings we were invited to this year! If you want to skip directions and materials hop on over to Wendy's Blog!
Colonial White Cardstock cut to 11X 4.25"; Olivia Level 2 Paper Packet; Pear and Sunset Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads; 2"X2" My Acrylic Block; Euro Personal Paper Trimmer; Micro-Tip Scissors, Tombow Mono Adhesive, and Sponge cut into 1/8ths. (I hold my sponges with binder clips so my hands do not get inky.) I folded the card accordion style with the top being 3" the center piece 2 3/4" and the back 5 1/4". The Olivia green paper is cut two times - one for the front and the remainder for the inside - in 3X3" and 3X8" pieces the orange center piece is cut from the back of the green piece and is 1/2" thick. The middle square is the orange dot piece cut in a 3X3" square and antiqued with sunset, the center piece is the pear cardstock cut in a 2 1/4" square and antiqued with pear. I stamped the sentiment with sunset and cut around it using the micro-tipped scissors. Then I attached all pieces using Tombow Mono Adhesive.
It was really easy to create and looked great when finished!!! In fact, it looked so good I made 3 of them :)
